Oh what a crazy few weeks! Last I blogged, I was preparing for an interview. Long story short, I did not wear a suit, I was 24 minutes late for the interview, AND they still wanted me!!!
Obviously, I wasn't late on purpose. There was a bad car accident on the interstate at a bridge going over the lake. I did choose to rock a sundress and my mustard yellow Tieks, but that's because I wasn't planning on working this school year. My heart is full with happiness and I couldn't be more excited about this new adventure in 2nd grade! I haven't taught 2nd grade in six years, but I'm pumped get back to primary land after a crazy three years in testing land. I just wanted to check in, give the updates, and I will be back later in the week with a few of my "must haves" for 2nd grade.
Congratulations! I loved teaching 2nd grade. It was one of my most memorable years. Unfortunately, it was my last year before I went to testing land. I'm now on my 7th year there. I'm still a primary teacher at heart though!
